Library study session. Then i went to late night for food. En route i saw a crack head ballet dancing in the street. Yes! Go B-ham. Then in the FX lounge, the crazy japanese exchange students were drunk and popping water balloons on their heads, inside. A little wierd. I miss Zarni Htoo Htoo. For those of you unfamiliar with this crazy name…my roomie from last year. Good times.
and i have tests…..but i want to look back on college and say………yes i had fun….so i have to do this
Note to self: Get rollerblades and become fluent in espanol…
This was probably one of the most exciting days I have had in a while. Emily y yo had planned to go to Lake McMurray since….yesterday. And so today. We went. It was muy fun. We did not do any homework but it was great. We. Had. Much. Good. Times. There were too many animals noises though. I don’t know if that is possible, but there were a lot. I definitely saw the bald eagle. And some hawk and lots of woodpecker. The best part was seeing two woodpeckers mate. I was glad to see babys being made. Especially birds. We went into the water. And then left and went to the Lake McMurray Country Store and I bought a customized trout shirt that said “Lake McMurray.” So we left and came back to Western. Then I got back to Western and immediatley went on a roadtrip to look at something. Definitely was the coolest find of the year. I really reall (really) hope that this comes through.
Woody!
Damn. I wish we people didn’t have to sleep. There is so much to get done during the day. The moon is really big though. Very large. I enhaled a lot of paint fumes today too.
Had a fun weekend. Have been staying up really late making stuff. Have a lot coming up. Might buy tickets for Sasquatch. I didn’t know Wilco or Ray LaMontagne are coming, so that could be a reason to go. Maybe steal the Eurovan…we’ll see. Hmmm. B
buenas noches y paz a todos
Drove down to SEA friday with Willow. We chilled on C-Hill for a while and then went to UW to pick up Josh to go to the E-Side. Muy divertido. Chilled at home and made a run to B-Franklin/V-Village. Drove into SEA again and went and saw “The Fearless Freaks.” Its a documentary about the Flaming Lips. It was crazy. Met up with Megan, Willows friend, and then got lost and went to Beth’s Cafe. Beth’s is cwazy. Interesting people. Lots of giggling. Anyways.
I am finally starting my spoon clock project. Should be interesting. I have too many canvases to know what to do with. It is great. Gr8!
And….I decided not to go in on the house for next year. Too much of a waste of money if I will only be in b-ham for less than 6 months of the full year lease. So I will just get an apartment or look for a room in a random house when I get back from Oaxaca. oh wells.
Note to self:
typewriter
record player
I went to lacrosse class today. I like lacrosse. The sprinklers went off which is always funny to see. Everyone ducks like a gunshot went off because it is so random. And it is Peters birthday today. Lucky guy. April 20th is a funny funny day. Everyone walks around saying “happy holidays.”
I think I am glad to be possibly playing lacrosse for the next four years. This weekend was intense. I enjoyed myself. Had some wild times. Poor cleaning ladies in the hotel. The end.
Went down and saw “The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill” at the Pickford. The theater was packed which is unusual for everyother time I have been there (he sido alli). It was a really good documentary. Some dude and his parrots. The movie focused on a few birds and thier personalities and how they bonded with the feeder. It was funny. There was one bird that lived in his house under the refrigerator. Whenever the owner would come close to it, it would attack and bite his feet. I like birds.
It made me sad because they showed hummingbirds during the movie and that is the one thing that I was looking forward to the most about going back to Costa Rica. Getting to see/hear the hummingbirds. I really miss sitting around and listening to them buzz around. I have heard a hummingbird three times since I got back from last summer and each time I hear it somewhere in the background noise and somehow my ears pick out the noise and it makes me feel happy.
I got an A on my first calculus test? Bitch please. (dancing)
Whos brother was on national television this morning? Okay, just wondering. Mike, Kelly and Conor were on Good Morning America for thier spring break trip. I think because they got a picture of it with Paris Hilton is the reason why they were flown, for free, to NYC. That is so crazy. Me jealous. I thought Mike would never get a chance to say anything. But he did and it was awesome.
And then I checked the Drudge report like I do every morning and the first two headlines I read are…”Teen charged with stealing head from grave” and “Student charged with biting classmates ear off.” Great.
Life is so silly sometimes. I got an A on my Biology test and a C on my Spanish test. Normally it would be vice-versa. But I’m still proud of myself. Ohhhh.
I am excited for this weekend. Going down to U of Oregon for a lacrosse game. Should be pretty swell I suppose. I didn’t get the Costa Rica job afterall. I email this nasty bitch (probably a nice lady) and she said “oh you should have received an email a few months ago saying we already filled the positions.” Super. If murder was legal….I would chop a few bitches up. Oh well. I guess this sets my plans for living up in Bham for the summer in stone. Economics and Statistics though? “double u…tea…eff” I got a bunch of Band-Aid stickers at the store the other day. Then I realized it would have been cooler to use real Band-Aids. This probably doesnt make any sense to anyone why I would need Band-Aid stickers…Calculus test tomorrow. I feel like I don’t need to study, considering I took it last quarter (loser). But I should. I got 100% on the first quiz. “What would be a word to describe the feeling if I got an A on this test.”
I am running out of clippings for my canvases and I feel drained when I think about it. My hobby for the last two years is slowly fading away. I should go to the library and tear up all thier magazines but that wouldn’t be very considerate of other citizens/people.
Where should I try to get a job this summer?
UPS shipping place on Sunset?
A restaurant or grocery store?
Random store downtown?
Nowhere?
Jarjar…tonight at dinner. Ali dropped her apple and fumbled to catch it and proceeded to knock over one of the giant fake plant topped table dividers. It landed with the loudest noise I have heard in a while. The entire dining room went silent…paused for a second and then applauded. It was a awesome stream of events. I love the fact that I have gotten over my fear of embarassment in public. And I just struggled for over a minute on how to spell embarassment. I still dont think it looks right. I am studyin on campus in a classroom in Humanities. I am using all the chalkboard to write out my notes and playing music through the “faculty only” computers. It is the best discovery I have made so far in two years of college. I am listening to the Dark Side of The Moon reggae remix. So sweet. I am slightly tempted to write/draw naughty things on the board so the 8am class the next day get to see/read my sick mind. I am glad it started raining because I like to put my hood on when I walk around outside. I feel like a thug. I have chalk all over my pant and I feel like a professor. Except its not smeared all over my ass like most of them. I think it would be cool to be a teacher…okay maybe for just a day. We went on a bike ride today to look for houses. Found a cool 4-bedroom on High Street. But it would be like $375 a month. Right next to that park though and muy close to campus. Okay I want to get a good grade on my Bio test tomorrow. Paz a todos. Adios.
Ticking away the moments that make up the dull days.
