In Lebanon, people do not ask about someone’s religion because that would mean they’re categorizing someone.

Good weekend. Came down friday. Willow y yo went swimming in Lake Sammamish. Surprisingly warm water for May. Haha, went kayaking in the cesspool in Abbey Road. Willows first time kayaking. Left at 5:30 ish and drove to the coast. Got a campsite at Mora and then napped and chilled. Made some food and then went and hung out at the beach. Did the same thing the whole weekend. Hiked out to a cool beach the next day. Made some random stuff on the beach and then left. Came back to Seattle, saw a french SIFF movie with Emily and then chilled in Redmond for a while before heading back to WWU with another Emily. Weekend went by fast and was pretty relaxing. I got some good driving time in which is nice. I miss those roads. Got some quality ‘rufus’ and ‘magnet’ time. Oh and dont forget ‘armin.’

Today I got to listen to the Beach Boys and watch the sunset. It was an amazing sunset. There was a big plane landing at Bham Int’l and it made me think. At one time in my life I wanted to be a pilot. I am sure everyone went through thier phases of what they wanted to be. I went through a pilot phase. I wonder where I would be right now if I had gone through with that. My other phases were car designer, marine biologist (which is still possible) and i cant remember anymore.

I am so jealous of British people.

Hopefully Willow and I make is somewhere cool this weekend and have some fun. Hopefully our food will taste good too. Jarjarjarjar.

It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much- the wheel, New York, Wars and so on- while all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man-for precisely the same reasons.

Dolphins are so rad. Thank you for reincarnation because I will be one.

100 people in the world

Filed under: Regular Posts — Ben @ 6:13 pm

If we shrank the earth’s population to a “global village” of only 100 people and kept all the existing human rations, ther’d be:

61 from Asia
21 from China
17 from India
13 from Africa
12 from Europe
5 from the U.S.
1 from Australia and New Zealand
22 who speak a Chinesse dialect, 18 of whom speak Mandarin
9 who speak English
8 who speak Hindi
50 females
50 males
32 Christians
68 non-Christians
15 nonreligious
19 Muslims
6 Buddhists
1 Jew
30 who have enough to eat
88 old enough to read
17 of whom cannot read at all
1 teacher

“hey Ben”
“Oh hey, whats up?”
“Not too much, just chillin”
“Cool, well dont chill to hard…hahaha”
“Hahaha (awkward laughing)”
–awkward pause–
“So…how has life been lately”
“School, working, not much…you?”
“Yeah about the same”
“So what classes are you taking this quarter?”
“______, ______ and _______. You?”
“______, ______ and _______.”
“Cool”
“Yeah, well I have to get going”
“Yeah, me too”
“See yah”
“Later”

This is one of the first summers I can remember that I am not excited about (except for the summer I broke my wrist and sat in an inflatable pool). I can think of one reason. Starting with a “t” and ending with a muther focking “raveling.” I can wait till September though. I can wait till September. I can wait till September. Im such a spoiled brat.

I am just sad I don’t have that giddy feeling anymore. That feeling the day school got over and we all rode the bus home screaming and throwing shit at each other. And recess….omfg roflmao…don’t get me started on recess. Whenever someone asks those questions like “if you could relive…blah blah blah,” I always think of recess.

I think someone should disinvent all technology. Not all but a lot. Cell phones. Computers. Video games. Cell phones. Cars. Meth. Babies. Crack.
All I do is sit on my computer and listen to music. I like music, but what a waste. I am so glad not to have the internet at my house this summer. Maybe I will be productive. Make some serious cash money. Paint or something. And hike. I want to go backpacking a lot. Yes, I will do that. Prolly not, but I want to. Thats good enough, eh?

Suddenly you’re not yourself

tip één;

With stickers, always make sure that the sticky side goes on the surface. If you don’t want anyone peeling them off, just take a sharp stanlyknife and cut it up like a raging idiot. This way, they have to peel over a hundred different pieces. Make sure there’s foam on the corners of your mouth, so passers by won’t stop to make comments. Also, cutting your stickers with a pair of special ‘zigzag’ scissors, makes removing really difficult.

tip twee;

When you see an old man or woman trying to cross the street, don’t be a basterd. Help them cross. Do make sure to put some stickers on their back. They walk through town very slow, and can bee seen as a good sticking object. If they are really old, and forget alot, the sticker can last up to a week! You can off course apply this ‘old school’ method on every person.

tip drie;

If your girl askes you a question concerning here weight, (’honey, does this make me look fat?’) run like the wind!

tip vier;

Make sure you always got a few friends working at strategic places like a bar, a liquor store, a restaurant, a copy shop, a bar, a graphic appliance store, a bar, a post office, etc. etc.

tip vijf;

If you find a carton of milk dated back in the nineties, slowly open it and drink it in one big gulp. Then, just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Finally I got a sixth tip; If you go to Rotterdam, DON’T WEAR AN AMSTERDAM AJAX SHIRT!

Must have been 3 years since we last spoke
