I’m really feeling on this new jam. New Music from Morr Music! I’m always down with my homies in the land of the Jelly Donuts! Long story if you don’t get this, little history lesson for yah. The Go Find - Adrenaline. The new album is less electronic, which is okay I guess. I’m not all butt-hurt over it, I love Miami and was expecting more of the same. They went over to the dark side of more generic indie, but I it sounds nice on my stereo either way.
Y’all, I’m serious here. Where are the parties like this? Only on T.V. I suppose. And in Britain.

Seriously is there a need for T.V. anymore?
Look…I’ve been listening to Hip Hop for 15 years and I can’t take this shit anymore ok? Puffy? Fine. Nelly? Fine. Ja Rule? Ok. 50 Cent? I’ll live through it. But that Laffy Taffy shit was the last straw. I’ve already gone through enough pain guys, just let me listen to the Decemberists in peace.
I’m sick now. Pretty sick. I have some wierd stomach thing happening and I won’t excite you with details. Plus a fun head cold / body ache. I’m still wearing Girl Talk’s sweats and I’ve lost my marbles. This is so awesome.
But on a lighter note.
I tried out for the Dance Department Faculty concert that will be in May. My number was called at the end. So random. It was a horrible tryout. I thought it would be fun and not too serious, but I was awfully unprepared mentally. I’ve only taken two dance classes at Western so I thought whathefuck I’ll give it a try. A couple of us from my current class left early and headed downtown to the studio on Holly. The place was packed, everyone was warming up and we stood out mucho. People stretching, prancing around the room, bending over, etc. The professors, (instructors?), or whatever you call them, did the intro logistical stuff and then we had to make up a short dance number and perform it in front of everyone! Yeah. I wanted to die. I hate these parts. I just made up some bullshit and tried not to get too red in the face and hurried off stage. Normally we would just do it twice for the faculty to adequetely judge us, BUT, they wanted to see it a third time for get a better look. Of course they did. Of course. Things improved later, we learned another routine that everyone did together, and I caught on quicker and enjoyed it. There were 5 guys there out of almost 70. Raw deals eh?

So I thought I might get picked, but after my awkward attempt at flailing my arms around and pretending to be a sick bunny or something, I figured they knew my secret. That I suck. No, but my number was called and it was exciting. I’m gonna be a STAR!!!! I’ll probably flip out on stage and fall on my face and lose a limb, but it’s fun to dream. So now I have 6 days a week of practice for a total of 13 hours. Not too shabby. It’ll keep me busy at least. I’m really excited and nervous. I don’t know what to think. Its an adventure and new things and people are always a positive thing.
In honor of myself, ha, I offer this because it is so fitting.

I have learned more in the past 6 months on the interweb than in school. But my internet interests related to my studies so not much to worry about.

I happened on your site looking for a long lost friend of mine who is hard to even on the web, but really difficult not to think about from time to time. How fotuneate of a circumstance that I would come across your blog. I must say it is visually stunning. I am not an illiterate person (a bad speller maybe) but keeping to my task I only scan for a familiar face. However I am a big fan of blogging and you have inspired me to blog my next travels to where ever- or maybe I’ll just make the whole thing up. Anyway thanks for the inspiration. Hope that you find endles ‘material’ for your blogs.
