Just returned home from a sunny and luxurious SB07 trip woooo!
I left 85 degree weather for 45! Downgrade.
It also hailed on the drive home from the airport. This always seems to happen. I got back from Oaxaca and it rained for 26 days straight. I guess Seattle has this moody complex to it and is mad when I leave it.

We got to my aunts house and my naked cousin runs to our car and asks, What’s up? He is almost three. He also asks us if we are happy non stop. I think it is partly because he watches new age spirituality and self help videos with his mom.
So we had 6 nights and it was overall pretty chill as vacations should be. Typical family squabbles and smackdowns, but it was really sunny and we were in a pretty place. First couple days we did some kayaking, bike rides with the kids to the park, went out to lunch, etc.

Drove down the highway to Key West for a night, which I would say was my favorite part. Melanie and I rented scooters and drove around for hours exploring and doing fun stuff. Here are a few highlights, uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis
Numero seis is my favorito. Scootering is dangerously fun. I found this old Police K9 training facility which is now bascically a dump and a paintballing course. There were stripped cars, school buses, old airport radar towers, mcdonalds playhouse pieces, old city lamp posts, etc. Random stuff everywhere. It was confusing, but fun to play around on. Driving around at night was entertaining too. We were on the look out for the drunkest dude we could find. We found him staggering downtown. He slammed into a taxi and broke the side mirror. Key West is a bizarre mix of people. There are a bunch of homos, frat dudes and old couples. All drunk.

Back to the aunts house, we went kayaking more and a couple more bike rides until all the bikes were broken. No joke Melanie and I managed to break three bikes when we were there. Took the kids out for ice cream and silly stuff. Went into Miami for our last night. Did some ocean swimming and walking up and down Ocean Drive a bit. At night I did some drinking with Mel and we walked around a bit. She went to bed and I stayed up and attempted to be in da club, but they were shady and I was alone so I didnt last long. Although we had an option to go to Brazil or Ecuador with my aunt, we decided not to since the trip was so short and another all night flight didn’t sound too appealing to us. Overall, it was good to get some sun, have some adventure and play with my cousins.
