We got to my aunts house and my naked cousin runs to our car and asks, What’s up? He is almost three. He also asks us if we are happy non stop. I think it is partly because he watches new age spirituality and self help videos with his mom.
So we had 6 nights and it was overall pretty chill as vacations should be. Typical family squabbles and smackdowns, but it was really sunny and we were in a pretty place. First couple days we did some kayaking, bike rides with the kids to the park, went out to lunch, etc.

Drove down the highway to Key West for a night, which I would say was my favorite part. Melanie and I rented scooters and drove around for hours exploring and doing fun stuff. Here are a few highlights, uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis
Numero seis is my favorito. Scootering is dangerously fun. I found this old Police K9 training facility which is now bascically a dump and a paintballing course. There were stripped cars, school buses, old airport radar towers, mcdonalds playhouse pieces, old city lamp posts, etc. Random stuff everywhere. It was confusing, but fun to play around on. Driving around at night was entertaining too. We were on the look out for the drunkest dude we could find. We found him staggering downtown. He slammed into a taxi and broke the side mirror. Key West is a bizarre mix of people. There are a bunch of homos, frat dudes and old couples. All drunk.

Back to the aunts house, we went kayaking more and a couple more bike rides until all the bikes were broken. No joke Melanie and I managed to break three bikes when we were there. Took the kids out for ice cream and silly stuff. Went into Miami for our last night. Did some ocean swimming and walking up and down Ocean Drive a bit. At night I did some drinking with Mel and we walked around a bit. She went to bed and I stayed up and attempted to be in da club, but they were shady and I was alone so I didnt last long. Although we had an option to go to Brazil or Ecuador with my aunt, we decided not to since the trip was so short and another all night flight didn’t sound too appealing to us. Overall, it was good to get some sun, have some adventure and play with my cousins.

GRANDMOTHER: Did you see the politics? It made me angry.
DAD: Me, too. When it was over, I had sex.

Last night I celebrated my last night of finals and my brother’s bday.
I spent monday night in the basement of CF amped up on antiADD forces and 25 cent coffee.
All in all I wrote 16 pages of pure writing, not including the extra shit, for my history paper that should have been about 7 or 8.
I do what I want.

One of my former roommates left town today and this signals the beginning of the end I guess. People are graduating and leaving town. I will be one of the last…and I’m getting antsier every day. Happy Spring Break for those of you who have it. I am going to Miami and the Keyes, hopefully Key West for a bitsie. If my aunt the pilot happens to have a trip when we are there, we get to follow! She flies to all the major capitals in South America so hopefully we can go somewhere hella exotic and full of so much culture and life! But if not, I am down chillin on the water with the cousins.

So what I should have done tuesday night was hang out or do some homework…or done one of these things, here or here. No, no, no my friends. I drove south and smoked a bowl at 4:20 in the morning driving through DT PORTLAND, WHAT? And sat in rush hour traffic from 7am till 8:30? It was quite an adventure. I think our original goal was coffee somewhere, but we never actually exited the vehicle in the state of OR. What a shame. Thing look better from inside a car I guess. Later on it started pouring snow and I was forced to drive slow on the freeway. I need to do these things more, because sadly enough the end of college is coming near and realistically these “adventures,” that come along with my limited responsilities in life, aren’t going to last forver. Bloke #1: I’m currently going through the lengthy process of organizing all my music folders. Its exhausting. I shouldn’t be bitching though. It is better than homework which I haven’t had much of lately. My runs down to fairhaven keep getting faster. My athlete is coming back which is good. Better sleep/mood/hunger. Dance is coming together well. Both performances are now almost completely done. I am so excited and hope people come watch me. My (shared) broken car is now fixed thankfully and now that shit is all over with. I can now exit the car through the drivers door and not climb out.
Weekend was good. I was drained all weekend, but somehow I managed to go out every night and be festive. Thursday night roomy and I stayed up till sunrise. We snorted ADD medicine and got large coffees and drove out to Birch Bay and past the refinery out at Cherry Point. It looks like Emerald City in the night and is magical. Go see it sometime. We drove around and smoked…and it was beautiful. I needed a good adventure like that. My parties this weekend looked like this. Maybe thats a lie, but they could have been. In Modern dance today I was high, haven’t done that yet, but it was orgasmic. For maybe the first 20 minutes and simply lay down on our backs, closed our eyes, focused on breathing, blah blah. It was a waaay Buddhist experience brah. I had just woken up from a nap not long before and it was a nice release and time to get down with myself.

This is a rediscovered find and its one of those places you can get stuck in forever. His videos are funny and he makes interesting commentary about um, everything. I don’t think I would feel comfortable with a camera that close to my face. And he looks like a cartoon.

I decided once and for all that I am not a math and science person so I downgraded myself to Environmental Studies. I think I’ll take the Natural Resources path which I think would fit better into a more policy based conservation path instead of research. I will know the science without having to use it. There. Ask people what gender they are. Over and done with.This doesn’t put me behind graduation wise, thankfully, and I could be done in about a year from now. So five years + a quarter or two. Total pat on the back.

Nightmare with a paper today. Some saving error poped up and overwrote my ENTIRE paper. Serious not funny. I had about 2.5 hours left and half my paper was gone. So now I have 6 days a week of practice for a total of 13 hours. Not too shabby. It’ll keep me busy at least. I’m really excited and nervous. I don’t know what to think. Its an adventure and new things and people are always a positive thing.
